Community Outreach

Sunset Church Food Distribution

Every Saturday from noon to 1 PM, Sunset Church hosts a food distribution event to serve the local community. Volunteers are welcome to join us in this effort to provide nourishment to those in need. Whether you can spare an hour or the full duration, your assistance is greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact our outreach coordinator for more information. Let's work hand-in-hand to ensure no one goes hungry in our community.

Ways to get involved

Getting involved in our church community is a fulfilling way to strengthen your faith and connect with others. Our Food Ministry welcomes volunteers to help with preparations and distribution, ensuring those in need are served with love.

The Women's Ministry offers various gatherings, providing a supportive environment for fellowship and personal growth, with Bible studies and events that encourage spiritual development.

Meanwhile, our Men's Ministry focuses on camaraderie through activities and discussions that deepen faith and build relationships. Join us for our Bible studies on Wednesday nights at 7 PM, and be sure to check our calendar for scheduled gatherings and events to fully engage and find ways to serve. Your participation can make a significant difference in both your life and the lives of others.

Women’s Ministry

In today's fast-paced world, many individuals face the dual pressures of managing finances and raising children while balancing full-time jobs and navigating external challenges. Sunset Church provides a sanctuary for like-minded Christian women seeking support and encouragement. Here, women can gather to share their experiences, engage in heartfelt prayer, and receive guidance rooted in biblical principles. Through scripture-based lessons, participants learn to apply teachings in their daily lives, helping them face challenges with faith and resilience. This community fosters a sense of belonging and strength, enabling members to uplift one another amid life's difficulties.

Men’s Ministry

Our Men's Ministry serves as a refuge for Christian men seeking fellowship and support. Here, we come together to break down barriers and open our hearts, allowing God to work in our lives and help us grow into better leaders for our families, children, and workplaces. Through Bible-based teachings and a strong reliance on scripture, we center our lives around God, fostering personal growth and encouraging one another to embody His principles in every aspect of our daily lives.

Grief Meetings

Angela Miller- Grief Share Leadership

Grief is an inevitable part of life, and as Christians, we are called to bring our sorrow to God, who comforts us in our times of need (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Embracing our emotions allows us to heal, while turning to Scripture can provide solace and hope. The Bible reminds us that Jesus wept (John 11:35), showing us that it is okay to express our pain. We can lean on prayer and community for support, finding strength in the promise of eternal life (John 3:16) and the assurance that God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). In our mourning, we can also find purpose through sharing our story and leaning into the hope of resurrection and restoration.
